Very peaceful cosy cabin in private, pet safe grounds, near fishing loch. 3 mins drive from station taking you to Edinburgh or Glasgow within an hour.

The space

If you are looking for a peaceful quiet hideaway then Bumble's Barn is for you. Well behaved Pets are always welcome. Cat or dog crate available as well as a large bird cage and outside aviary.

Guest access

The barn sits in its own space with outside fantastic new hot tub, seating and a barbecue. It has a very private garden with high fencing keeping pets safe inside. You will have your own entrance through a side gate as well as your own dog safe garden. We can arrange free transport to and from Caldercruix railway station taking you to Edinburgh or Glasgow and beyond

Interaction with guests

We have 5 very well behaved Irish wolfhounds next door as well as several large parrots. Visitors are always welcome.

As we are pet friendly you may find the odd dog hair. While we endeavour to clean everywhere Please understand that it is impossible to remove every single one. We want to remain pet friendly so please if it’s an issue don’t book

Breakfast pack available at extra cost Celebration package ( Birthday, Anniversary etc.) also available please ask for details We provide pet blanket, towel and treats as well as a comfy kennel/crate if you must go out without your dog. Dogs can be left if you wish to go out but please let us know in advance and we will keep an eye on them for a small charge No dogs left in the barn on their own without permission

Why can't I call Fran (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Fran (the owner) a message.

If Fran (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
