This semi-detached cottage is resting in the village of Garlieston near Wigtown and can sleep two people in one bedroom.Torkeld Holiday Cottage is a semi-detached property located in the village of Garlieston in Dumfries and Galloway. Hosting one double bedroom with access shower room, this cottage can sleep up to two people. Inside you will also find an open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area. To the outside is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden. Situated in a peaceful setting with nearby attractions, Torkeld Holiday Cottage is a lovely retreat in a pleasant part of Scotland to enjoy at any time of the year.

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britains best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Town: Garlieston is a village resting on the Machars Peninsula, looking out over Wigtown Bay. It was popular as a fishing and cargo harbour until the 20th century, and today the harbour provides leisure and fishing craft. The village also offers a shop and Post Office as well as a traditional inn. The gardens of Galloway House offer a series of walks through magical woodland. Close by, Monreith is home to a sandy beach.
