A modern, self-catering, pet-friendly, ground floor apartment, which is an annexe to the owners property. Bedroom 1 - King size bed. Bedroom 2 can be double or twin beds. Travel cot available. Set in the heart of the North Essex Countryside, it has views over a shared garden with large pond, and fields. Come and explore the many miles of footpaths, local attractions, such as Castle Hedingham and the Colne Valley Railway, and the beautiful villages of Eastern England from this tranquil location.Key Info:- Pond View is the ground floor annexe in a separate property in the grounds of Pond House. If you are looking for additional accommodation, please see listing 676523 for our other annexe, Field View, which has 1 bedroom and sleeps 2 guests. - Large, shared, dog-proof garden.- Up to 2 well behaved, friendly dogs or cats welcome. We have a large deep pond, children must be supervised in the garden.
Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of £4 per night (£25 per week). Due to the shared garden, dogs must be dog/people friendly and under control at all times. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture and must never be left alone in the property.
No parties/loud music after 10.30pm.
At least one member of any group booking this property must be over 25 years of age.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Chris (the owner) a message.

If Chris (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
