From the owner

I would be delighted to have guests staying that have previously booked with me and those that haven’t. The chalet is comfortably furnished in a welcoming and homely style.

The kitchen comes fitted with all modern conveniences and is well equipped for all your self catering needs, including a washing machine.

All bed linens and household towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels if you require these.

There is a travel cot and high chair available if required, please say at the time of booking. Then the twin bedroom will be set with the cot and one single bed.

An information file is kept in the lounge to help guests settle in and provide knowledge of the local area. Free unlimited wyfi is provided at no extra charge.

Pets are welcome at no extra charge. All dogs need to be walked on the lead around the holiday Park. The beach is pet friendly, dogs can be walked off the lead here.

Interaction with guest

As much or as little as required. Guests may arrive and check in anytime from the check in time given. I will always text guests on the day of arrival if check in is available before the standard time of 4pm. This is usually so. Your key safe code allows for ease of access at anytime. When checking out please replace the keys in the key safe and rotate the numbers to random or zeros. You will find information on available facilities and entertainments in the local area via the information file kept in the chalet including coach tours and fishing rod hire. I live in nearby Lowestoft so I am available to sort any issues that may arise.

Why can't I call Gillian (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Gillian (the owner) a message.

If Gillian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
