Come have a fun and relaxing vacation at our beachfront little get-away on the Isle of Palms, Charleston, SC. Wake up in an oceanfront condominium on one of South Carolina's most beautiful beaches. Beautiful sunrise, dolphins out front in the surf, and keeping an eye on the kids in the pool, all from the comfort of your living room, kitchen, or balcony.

Located in the heart of Isle of Palms, this cozy condo is perfectly positioned. You are just steps from the beach and in walking distance to the island's best restaurants, shops, and park. This condominium complex claims the only pier on the Front Beach strand, private for your fishing or relaxation enjoyment. Having grown up here, and visiting many of these Sea Cabins over time, we chose this unit specifically because the 2nd floor has the great view without the 3rd story climb (no elevator) every time we needed to grab one more thing, no roof leaks or HVAC noise, and because our end unit shares no BR wall, has open ended balcony, and no unit underneath us (just a meeting room used 3-4 x a year.)

IOP is a barrier island suburb of Charleston.You are only ten miles from the Historic District of Downtown Charleston, where you can shop at the Old Market. Take in the charm of this beautiful and historic town and learn more about Charleston on a horse-drawn carriage ride, or tour Charleston Bay and Fort Sumter by boat. South Carolina Aquarium, world class restaurants and shopping, live theater, live music, museums, and more.

*All condominiums and sea cabins are not in the same condition! Some of the condominiums and sea cabins have not been updated in many years and are not as nice and allergy-free as this unit. Ceiling and walls have all been replaced with smooth, mold-free sheetrock, new flooring and cabinets. This attractive condo, decorated in a tropical motif, is situated on the second floor of the center 'B' building.. The balcony affords unobstructed panoramic ocean views of the ocean, as we are in the middle bldg facing straight out (the 2 others angle in). This view is also shared from LR and kitchen. The sunset is very nice over the entrance/ back porch area. Being an end unit gives us a small space as back porch which the others don't have.

PRIVACY! This condo also offers individual privacy. The hall with built-in bunk beds closes off to be its own private room for smaller guests with a nightlight and air/white noise machine available. Top bunk is secret hide out for kids (must replace quick-release cabinet doors if removed) The adults can then go back and forth from balcony/LR/kitchen to BR thru the separate batroom door without waking the kids. We are well suited for 2-3 adults-and 1-3 children, 5 Max, or 4 adults MAX. YOUR NUMBER OF GUESTS MUST INCLUDE ADULTS AND CHILDREN !!

We keep a few beach chairs & mats, a small/med cooler, and a some beach toys for guests to use. I have info for a service that will set you up with wood and canvas loungers and umbrellas each morn. LR has 42" TV w/ Comcast Digital Preferred package. BR = 26".

You are a block from the Banana Cabana, the One Eyed Parrot, Long Island Cafe, Coconut Joe's, and many great restaurants. The world famous Windjammer beach bar offers up nightly entertainment. While enjoying the Island Life, you can go swimming, body surfing, play volleyball, dine at oceanfront restaurants, bike the beaches, jog, cruise the intercoastal waterway, sail, surf, windsurf, take in some live music, shop the boutiques. Check out the scuba diving or go deep sea fishing. Relax at a spa or try horseback riding. Kayak, parasail, water-ski, fish, go 'Crabin or Shrimpin,' walk the beach for shells, take a sunset cruise, charter a small boat, explore uninhabited islands, play some of the South's finest golf courses. There are security personnel on site to ensure safety, as well as parking, beach, pool, and pier access privleges. Bikes, chairs, and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby. Shopping, dining, nightly entertainment and post office are a very short walk.

Washer and dryer (coin operated on premises), pool, no smoking, no pets, private chef service avail. Activities (on site or nearby): Tennis courts and pool on site, hiking, biking, golf, tennis, fishing pier, shopping, restaurants, live theater, cinemas, museums, plantations ,sightseeing, swimming, snorkeling/diving, boating, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, jet skiing, shelling.

1 mile away, Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is an upscale shopping experience in classic southern style. With over 65 national and local tenants, including: Banana Republic, Gap, Bath & Body Works, Caché, Men's Wearhouse and Old Navy, as well as the regions only J.Jill, Coldwater Creek and Francesca's. Sample exquisite home-made candy at Sweet Julep's Candy & Gifts, or dine at PF Changs, TGI Friday's, Atlanta Bread Company, ...- there is sure to be a culinary diversion to suit your palette. After dinner, stroll the lush, tree-lined streets or relax at the luxurious Palmetto Grande 16-screen theatre. Shem Creek's famous shrimp boats and restaurants are 10 minutes away, and the Yorktown WWII destroyer and several historical plantations are all within easy driving distance.

Condo was clean and there was plenty of parking. Convenient walk to the beach, and I had plenty of options to contact Susan! I loved the town, and will keep this place in mind!

Thank you for the feedback, and apologies again for the cleaners running a bit late with the Labor Day busy schedule and traffic. My husband and I have stayed often with 2 young kids. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Susan (the owner) a message.

If Susan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
