Our cosy Apartment has a spacious living area, ideal for a couple ready to explore the Peak District National Park just minutes away. Located nearly 900ft above sea level with stunning views just a stroll away.

The apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen / diner, Lounge area with wifi and smart TV / DVD for entertainment after exploring the surrounding areas.

With a separate entrance from the main house, you are able to come and go at your own pleasure.

The apartment also has a back door with smoking area, from here you can access by stone steps, a decking and outdoor seating area, so you can enjoy our unusual rock garden.

If you require some further information on the surrounding area, we are happy to help, as work from home. We have left local attraction leaflets in the apartment to give you a guide, along with selection of books on the area. We are sure you'll love are little village as much as we do. There is a local co-op at the bottom of the Hill going into Wirksworth which you can get everything you need for your stay regarding food etc. Its a 5 minute drive down the hill or 25 mins walking normally taking in the views. There is a vending machine at the pub at the top of the hill which sells eggs, milk and orange juice is case of emergency.

Our apartment is is rented purely for a single person or two people only with a double bed. We do not provide any bedding or facilities for anymore. There is strictly no pets or smoking in the building. A wall mounted smoking bin is supplied at the back of the building through the back door for this purpose. We expect you to have a great time but please be mindful we are in a residential area late at night.

Why can't I call Helen (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Helen (the owner) a message.

If Helen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
