From the owner

Tinker's Retreat, originally the coach house to The Old Vicarage dating back to circa 1845, is a true holiday retreat. Drive through the large wrought iron gates, hang up the car keys, and sit back and enjoy the surroundings.

All on one level this property can comfortably accommodate upto 6 people. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large spacious lounge with log burner and a light and airy large kitchen to the rear with patio doors so you can step out into the private garden with hot tub.

The property has been beautifully furnished to ensure a comfortable stay. Children and pets are very welcome. The garden is fully enclosed and the small pond is completely fenced off. There is a separate conservatory against the old Victorian garden wall, a a handy 2nd lounge - so if you fancy bundling the youngsters out from under your feet then this is an ideal place for them - or even you!

There is a large hot tub for 6 people, patio with comfortable patio furniture etc., so after a hectic day out in Norfolk, you can sit in the hot tub and watch the stars overhead.

If you don't fancy driving and want to arrive by train - personal collection from the station can be arranged. If you just can't be bothered to organise a shopping delivery or go shopping for groceries - send me the list and it can all be waiting for you. This is your holiday to enjoy!

3 bedrooms with televisions. Master bedroom furnished with a beautiful Victorian brass bed. All have quality bed linen. Cot and high chair can be provided if required.

2 bathrooms with showers and bath tub - ideal for soaking in after a hard day down at the beach!

All bed linen and towels provided, including towels and robes for the hot tub.

Logs provided for log burner.

Pets welcome!

FREE UNLIMITED WIFI - inc BT Sport 1 and 2.

Welcome tray on arrival.

Normal changeover day is a Friday but short breaks starting on any day of the week are also welcome.

IMPORTANT: It saddens me to have to state this, but anyone found to be in breach of our house rules - i.e. trying to accommodate more people than they have booked for will automatically lose their damage deposit and will incur extra charges on top of this. If you are not at maximum occupancy within your booking and wish to have more friends or family to stay - then please ask permission. Thankyou.

A fee for pets is automatically added to your booking as so many of our guests have dogs. If you do not have any pets within your booking then please advise of this fact when you request a quote so the extra fee can be removed.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Emma (the owner) a message.

If Emma (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
