The parking situation was probably affected by the Sidbury Village Fair which was happening that week, which you may have taken part in! As you say, if the space outside the cottage is taken, there is always a space behind the church or in the free car park behind the village hall. I hope to welcome you again to Cherry Tree at some point in the future.
