We really appreciate your feedback and comments. You are absolutely right about the beauty of the East Neuk of Fife. We believe one of Scotland’s best kept secrets is the tranquillity and beauty of this area which has completely unspoilt traditional fishing villages scattered along it’s coastline. The coastal paths are such a pleasure to walk too, so thank you for telling us about your favourite walk. We work hard to ensure our guests are made most welcome, as we believe holidays are valuable and precious time to spend with friends and family. You visited Edinburgh and Glamis Castle too, so really made the most of your week exploring the wider surroundings! We would be so pleased if you decided to return on another occasion! Thank you, Wx

Thank you for the review. Helen, the owner of the property takes great pride in the house and myself and her are disappointed to find that you were not satisfied with the cleanliness of the house, as you will see from previous reviews, this is the first time that this has become an issue. We will take on board your comments about the clutter in the house and have a look at this, we do however feel, that most of this adds to the charm of the property and is in keeping with the houses unique charm. I apologise for the television not working and hope this did not spoil your enjoyment of the house. Thanks for your comments Laura, we're pleased that you enjoyed your stay and that you found Ceol na Mara a comfortable setting for your short break.
As we discussed prior to arrival, we await a phone call to say you are thirty minutes away before going to the property. This is due to many guests advising an ETA then not actually arriving until often many hours after this. Due to having a number of properties to manage, we make this request as we have spent many wasted hours waiting on arrivals, I'm sure you'll appreciate that this is a reasonable system. It was unfortunate that you had been using an incorrect number to try to contact us, our contact is also displayed on the window of the property which could have been used to reach us sooner.
The instructions for the heating are contained in the handbook and the system is on a timer. As there had been no issue with the heating for the guests who stayed prior to you, we had no reason to believe that the radiators needed to bled.
We had a plumber called out at very short notice who was able to rectify the issue, which was due to a guest incorrectly moving something on the boiler. Hopefully the well stocked fire offered plenty heat whilst the issue was being attended to.
We do hope that you will return to the East Neuk again to explore its delights further.
